Details emerged after the player, a regular in the title-chasing side, accidentally sent a steamy text intended for his latest squeeze to a team-mate.
The message read: "Morning babe. I hope you slept well and had sweet dreams. I'm sorry about last night. Are we seeing each other today? Love you xx."
Quickly realising his catastrophic error, the player immediately sent a second message, which read: "Wrong person, sorry mate, ha."
A source within the Massive Nights dressing room said speculation was rife within the club as to who the intended recipient of the original message was, and just how it came to be sent to a fellow player instead.

The Nights insider said: "Everyone is talking about it. It's just amazing, but it's the sort of thing that can happen if, for instance, you've just got a new phone and it's a bit shit and doesn't work right.
"Everyone's wondering exactly what he was apologising for having done, or not done, 'last night' and the speculation is rife as you'd imagine.
"The player concerned is now wishing he'd got an iPhone instead of one of them fake Samsung ones, then none of this would have happened. He's really gutted."
